1/ 2009 data on GDP growth rate for Cambodia, Myanmar and Lao PDR 2009 are based on GDP estimates published in the IMF WEO Database April 2010. ASEAN figure is estimated using country growth rates and country share of world GDP valuated in PPP$ from the IMF WEO Database April 2010.
2/ The official foreign exchange rate in Myanmar in 2008 was Kyats 5.43/US$. The exchange rate used in ASEAN statistical databases is derived from the IMF WEO Database October 2009 which is Kyats 1,102.8=US$1. Significant change for Lao PDR currency as the government the presidential decree on currency management that encourage people use and advertise prices of goods in Lao Kip.
3/ Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia and Myanmar is 2008 figure; whereas figure for Lao PDR is 2005
